A theme edit I made based on the Windows Classic theme - which is included in Vista. I made it because I like the look and feel of the older versions of Windows more than the newer ones. I did not make the original theme, I only edited it to make this.

EDIT: I might as well just say this now that I've been able to come back and look at comments. If you're just gonna call this a disgrace to Vista, thanks, that really helps me improve. Don't post a comment on it if you don't think I'll actually GET something out of it.

I like the classic theme as well, but I think yours would be a little more appealing if some dark grays or different shades of red were incorporated. To me, there isn't enough separation between individual parts of the window since much of the foreground is black. Some varying shades might make it easier on the eyes =)

You are destroying one of Vista's biggest features when using Classic.. Not only visual but also performance.. Aero goes thru the GPU instead of CPU which is better..

hi ken, wow, these people need to chill. it takes courage to post something you have made in here, and well, if they do not like it, then no one is telling them to use it. now, about the theme: good contrast, try to edit some more images. also, when posting your screenshot, make it clean, not too many icons, a nice background, just one window open. i don't know, those are just thoughts. looking forward to what else you can come up with.

Well, at the rate this is going, I might just give up. I apparently forgot to make it clear that I like this theme because I like the feel of the old ME style. Thanks for the suggestions anyway.

You mean the old '95 style. The old ME style required regular crashes every 2 minutes and a BSOD after 10.
